En undersökning om könsrepresentation i Lilla Sportspegeln
In the sports reporting in the media men dominate over women. This applies to all sports reporting in Sweden. But how is the gender representation in the children´s sports programme Lilla Sportspegeln? We have used a quantitative content analysis to answer the following questions: 1. What does the gender balance look like in the programme? a) among participants? b) among reporters? 2. In which sports do boys and girls participate and what roles do they have in the programme? 3. How have questions about equality issues been discussed among the editorial staff?
