Purpose: To examine how risks are created in connection with the construction of ideals in articles about weight. And to see which role the expert is provided? Questions: – What kind of ideals do MåBra and ToppHälsa construct? – What does the one who does not achieve the ideals risk, according to the messages in the text? – In what ways are risks constructed? – Which role is the expert given in the construction of risks? – What kind of people is emphasized as experts in MåBra and ToppHälsa. References: We have based our study on the theories of Ulrick Beck and Anthony Giddens. They believe that we live in a risk-society, where we need the experts to guide us. These theories are relevant to us since we wanted to see how risks are created in health magazines. And in what ways they use experts to legitimate their message. As Beck and Giddens we believe that risks are something that is socially created, and the importance of media is not insignificant

”Threats towards reporters at daily newspapers in Sweden – impacts and consequences for journalism and democracy” The purpose of the study is to examine threats towards reporters at daily newspapers in Sweden, and what consequences threats have, both for the journalist profession and journalism and democracy in general. Our main research questions were: – How threatened are Swedish newspaper reporters and in what ways are they threatened? – Is the reporter´s work and writing affected by the threats, and how? – Is the reporter´s editorial offices affected by threats in any way? – How do threats affect journalism and democracy in general?

Mening med mångfald
SÅ FÖDDES IDÉN att undersöka den ännu mer homogena arbetsgivarkårens inställningar till etnisk mångfald och framför allt, deras argument till varför det var viktigt. Eftersom tidigare studier som gjorts huvudsakligen fokuserat på journalister med utomnordisk bakgrund och deras erfarenheter av mediemarknaden i Sverige så kändes det intressant att låta arbetsgivarna komma till tals och få deras syn på problemet. SYFTET MED MAGASINET är att få fram en bild av hur arbetsgivare på några av de stora redaktionerna i Sverige tänker och resonerar kring etnisk mångfald. Tanken är inte att jämföra de olika intervjupersonernas svar, utan att kunna presentera en bild av varför det är viktigt med etnisk mångfald och hur aktivt olika arbetsgivare arbetar med det.
